FAQ

What Is The Focus At Junior Soccer School?

The Junior Soccer School works on creating a solid foundation for all soccer players. We focus on the things that make players strong at 1v1’s - speed, skills, close control, changing direction. We also work on decision making on the field and understanding how to utilize space. The goal here is to bridge the gap between recreational soccer and club soccer.

How Are The Kids Separated?

Little Strikers is our beginner class for first time players born between 2019-2021 ONLY. They will be every Thursday at 4:30 PM-5:30 PM. This once per week class is $400 ($33 per class). This class will help teach the fundamentals of soccer in a fun, game-based environment!

Intermediate and Elite Strikers our two more advanced classes. We have many first timers join this class too! They're for players born between 2014 and 2020. You can select either or BOTH training days of Tuesday or Wednesday. The days and times for these classes are Tuesday and Wednesday at 4:30 PM-5:30 PM. Once per week class for only a total of $450 ($38 per class). Elite and Intermediate players can add an extra training day for only $250 more - bringing it down to $29 per class! Players will have professional coaches that are licensed and will work on helping them grow as players through the whole season as we introduce the Junior Soccer curriculum.

How Big Is Each Class?

Each coach takes around 10-15 kids per session.

Are there games at the Soccer School?

On Friday's, we'll have our Friday Night Junior Soccer Matches - an additional day of just playing the whole time. We will put everyone in appropriate age groups and have them play the whole time! Players can join this on Friday at 4:30-5:30 PMYou can purchase all the games for $250 ($20 per game) OR join a one off for $45 per player for an a la carte game. This is for all ages from 2014-2021 and games will be separated by ages.

Please note - the game package is only included when you sign up for Junior Soccer School classes - you cannot purchase that alone.

These games require an online sign up beforehand, so we don't take cash! Non Junior Soccer kids are also invited if you have friends/family that would like to join. You can sign up for one offs HERE.

What Is The Difference Between Junior Soccer School And The Club Teams?

The club teams participate in a competitive league and the soccer school is the bridge between rec soccer and those competitive teams. The majority of the players on younger Strikers FC teams come through the Junior Soccer School. Recently we had 4 state cup finalists that featured 19 Junior Soccer School players among the 41 players.

Where Is Training?

All trainings are located at fields in Irvine. The City of Irvine assigns us our fields, but usually are central to the Woodbridge/Westpark area.
